BROPHY
> Employment > US Forest Service ____________ May to December 2000
In the months of May to December of 2000, I worked as a Forestry Technician in a seasonal position with the U.S. Forest Service
out of the Supervisor's Office in Fort Collins, Colorado.
In this position I covered four Ranger Districts in the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forests
conducting Recreation-Use Surveys at trailheads, picnic areas & more
in the following Ranger Districts ...
Over six months I drove about 18,000 miles throughout north-central Colorado.
My favorite part about this position / experience was getting to see parts of Colorado
that I had not seen before this time while meeting, speaking with & educating the public about recreational opportunities
as well as regulations about the proper use(s) of "Our" lands.
This position played a large role in being chosen for my next position with the Forest Service during the summer & fall of
2003 &
2004 ...
